Roberta J. Birdsong, 83, of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully at home, in her bed on December 26, 2023 with her loving wife Johanna by her side. Born on May 30, 1940 to the late Robert and Idella Birdsong. Devoted wife to Johanna Passanante for 10 years, together for 30 years. Dear stepmother to Cindy Walton (Dale), Bart Passanante (Patricia), Douglass Passanante (Christine). Grandmother to Michael Newborg, Nicholas Newborg, Gianna Newborg, Trent Newborg, Scarlett Passanante, Nicholas Di Pasquale, and Dominic Passanante. Great grandmother to Angelo Newborg. Sister to the late Robert Birdsong (Janice). Cousin to Mary and Ron Hartz.
Roberta had many careers, most notably in Marketing for IBM in Philadelphia, PA and a Career Counselor for Lee Hecht Harrison. Roberta and Johanna loved to travel together. Over the years they visited over 40 countries including Russia, Africa, Aruba, India, Egypt, and China. On her downtime, Roberta enjoyed completing 1000 piece puzzles, playing candy crush and eating meals at the Capital Grille.
