Roberto A. Fumo's Obituary
Roberto A. “Rob” Fumo passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, September 6, 2024. Rob was born in Teramo, Italy to Mario and Matilda Fumo, Rob was 67 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson since 1962.
Beloved husband of 34 years to Denise (nee Piccone) Fumo. Loving father of Liliana (Kurtis) Gasko, Mario (Taylor DeJoseph) and Matilde (Joseph Salera). Cherished Nonno to Jameson Robert and Landon Patrick. Dear brother of Enrico “Rick” Fumo and Vincenzo Fumo.
Rob graduated from Rutgers University and received a degree in business administration. He went on to have a career in commercial real estate brokerage. He also played an important role as owner/manager of the Presidential Center. He found joy in the simple pleasures of summer days at the Jersey Shore, creating and playing music, and Sunday dinners with his family. A devoted husband, Rob was blessed with a partner who stood by his side through ever season of life. He had three lovely children Liliana, Mario, and Matilde. Rob always found ways to be there for them supporting them in their own journeys through life. He adored his grandchildren who were the light of his life and he treasured every moment with them.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, September 12th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church 103 4th Street Riverton, NJ. Rob’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m.
Entombment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill.
