Rocco A. DiLeo's Obituary
Rocco A. DiLeo passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia to Francesco and Rosa DiLeo, Rocco was 93 years old. He was a resident of Riverton for the last 20 years, and a former resident of Palmyra, Cinnaminson, and Long Beach Island.
Rocco was the beloved husband of the late Anamae DiLeo (nee Kelly). He is predeceased by six of his siblings. Loving father of Michael (Patti) DiLeo, Roxane (Elmer) Adams and Mark (Paula) DiLeo. He is survived by his 6 grandchildren, who he adored, Carly (Matt), Kyle, Ashley, Kelly (Greg), Matt (Jenna), and Nick, his three adorable great grandchildren (Amelia, Audrey, and Tyler), his sister Rosemarie Guarnieri, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rocco was a retired salesman for Advanced Drainage Systems in Hilliard, Ohio. He is remembered as a dedicated youth baseball coach in Riverton and Palmyra.
Rocco enjoyed working with wood, helping his children with numerous house projects, and summers in Long Beach Island. He loved music, especially Elvis, Engelbert, and Frank Sinatra. At weddings, he and Anamae were the perfect dance partners. Rocco enjoyed the Saturday morning breakfast with his daughter at the diner having his soft scrambled eggs and chipped beef! He spent many days bowling with his sons in a league at Celebrity Lanes in Palmyra. His happiest days involved visits from his grandchildren! Rocco loved gardening; his meticulous lawn was enjoyed by all and the talk of the neighborhood!
Special thanks to Samaritan Hospice and Rocco’s caregiver, Bob.
Funeral proceedings will be private.
