Roddy G. Turner's Obituary
Roddy G. Turner, age 67, of Moorestown, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 surrounded by his wife Kathleen and daughter Elizabeth.
Rod was born on April 17, 1951 in Miami, Florida to John and Joan (nee Zawel) Turner. He spent most of his young life growing up in the Bronx, where he became an avid and loyal Yankees fan. He later moved to Orangeburg, NY and graduated from Tapan Zee High School. Rod went on to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University and later received an MBA in Health Care Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In November of 1977, he married his wife of 41 years, Kathleen Turner (née Barricella). Together, they had one daughter, Elizabeth. Rod not only was a devoted family man, but also was successful professionally. He was a Partner at accounting firm Laventhol & Horwath and spent time at Meridian Bank (now part of Wells Fargo) before co-founding health care consulting firm, HTG Consultants, LLC, where he worked until retirement. In his free time, Rod enjoyed reading, bowling, puzzling, eating vanilla ice cream and of course watching his Yankees and Philly sports team.
Rod is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughter Elizabeth, mother Joan and three younger siblings Randy Turner, Cindi Paul, and William Turner.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday August 10, 2018 from 4pm to 6pm at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, Maple Shade NJ, 08053.
