Ronald J. Socha's Obituary
Ronald J. Socha, of Maple Shade, passed peacefully at home with his beloved wife of 58 years, Loretta, by his side on August 14, 2015. He was 81 years old.
Born in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, Ron proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion.
Ron was the beloved husband of Loretta Socha (nee Pijanowski) for 58 years. Loving father of Elizabeth Walczak (Bob), Ronald J. Socha II (Cheryl), Francis Socha, Marie Deacon (Archie), and Jennifer Socha. Dear grandfather of Ron Socha III (Danielle), Rachael Walczak (Allen), Timothy Socha, Eric Walczak, Casey Deacon, and Ben Deacon. Great grandfather of Alexis and Roger Socha. Loving brother of Maryann Hagan (Bill) and Anthony Socha. Ron is predeceased by his siblings, Joseph Socha, Elaine Jastrzemski, and Francis Socha.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ronald’s life celebration at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St., on Thursday from 8:30 – 10:30 am. His funeral Mass will follow at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronald’s name may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
