Ronald W. Thompson's Obituary
Ronald W. Thompson Sr. of Marlton, New Jersey passed away June 22, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia, on April 26, 1937, the son of Edward Thompson and Mary (Bonner) the fraternal twin brother of Donald J. Thompson, and brother of Edward A Thompson.
Ronald graduated from North East Catholic High School in 1957. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth A. Buettger, on November 8, 1958 and was proud to say they’ve been married 62 years. His Faith in God and his love and dedication to his family will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family, watching TV, and spending time with his wife Elizabeth. Ronald worked hard his entire life in various factory positions as a punch press operator in manufacturing various metal products. He was very proud of having never missed a day of work. He also started each and every day before work by attending mass.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, children Ronald Jr (Donna), Ann Marie Scheuren (Tom); Grandchildren Leeann, Gregory (Dorothy), Robert, Allyson, Stephen, Kevin, and 1 Great Grandson Chase. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Donald and Edward.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, on Friday June 25th from 11 am to 12:30 pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1 pm at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, followed by interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Huntington Valley, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, www.StJude.org.
