Rose Jacoby's Obituary
Jacoby, Rose M. (nee Srymanske) 91, died April 20, 2013 at her home in Port Salerno, FL. She was born in Camden, NJ, and was a resident of Maple Shade for over 50 years. She spent her retirement years between Somers Point and Port Salerno, FL.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 65 years. She was a member of the AMVETS # 14 and the Women of the Moose. While raising her family in Maple Shade, Rose helped initiate with other dedicated parents dances on Friday nights at St John?s Episcopal Church and later moved onto the American Legion through the teen years. Rosie was employed for many years at the Apparel Shop in Maple Shade and created ?Rosie?s Alley? which was an annual event for the shoppers. She is Survived by her sons Joseph Jacoby (JoAnn) of Maple Shade, NJ, and Philip Jacoby (Patti) of Hobe Sound, FL and daughter Joyce Dell-Priscoli (Michael) of Moorestown, NJ, 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister of Dorothy Moncrief of Lindenwold, NJ and sister-in-law Betty Todd of Maple Shade, NJ. She was predeceased in death in 2004 by her husband Philip ?Chic? Jacoby. Relatives and Friends are invited to Rose?s Life Celebration Gathering at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main St. on Friday May 17, 2013 from 6:00 ? 8:00 pm.
