It is with Sad & Heavy Heart to know Dolly is gone. But she told me “because she’d made the decision, to stop any further Chemo Treatments”. she’d said “Just too much pain & hard on her & her Family, she’s had a good life, not afraid to Die & not going to prolong this. When God says it’s my time, I’m ready”🥰🙏🏻✝️️😞
Wow! How many of us or ppl we know, can say that w/ such calm?
❤️🙏🏻💕✝️️
In my life, no matter where I’ve lived, somehow I always seem to have an ‘elderly neighbor friend’ that has a Major impact on my life. ❤️
We 1st met & continued for yrs out back over the fence while hanging clothes on the line.😊 unlike some, I’ve never been one to sit at a Kitchen Table hrs on end visiting.
I’d cook & share & she’d tell me stories of how things were here in this town over the yrs. Loved talking about her Family.
Dolly was a True Catholic & believed in God as most of us can ‘only remember ppl did yrs ago’.
She didn’t drive Ever or even have a Car, but got around more then ANY one I know.
Her friends w/ pick her up, do movies, Lunch (as did we on occasion) or they’d go visit other elderly ‘who were in Nursing Homes or shut in’.😊 She even took a Friend in for several months to recoup from a fall. Always there to help someone. Always a Smile.
(her outreach & calling I guess)❤️
Since she’d moved in w/ Kelly from her Home next Door, it’s almost 2 yrs now & Covid, I didn’t want to get or give it, so have & continue to remain home & refrained from any outings or visits other then Dr’s or necessities.😞
Even tho her whole Family had the Covid shots, She’d told me, each of them still got it.🙁😞
so other then phone, we haven’t visited/ seen each other.😞
But ‘the occasional phone call’ has been our connection.
Thankfully she’s at Peace now & her Family are so fortunate for the relationship they had with their Mom. 🥰
So many Cherished memories they can share.❤️🥰
To me the epitome of what a ‘close & true loving family is’.🥰
You will be dearly missed Dolly🥲
& I Thank God for his Blessing of ‘our coming in contact’ & my getting to know you.✝️️🙏🏻😊👍
Thanks for the Smiles & Maternal guidances & connections.🥰💕🥲
Rest In Gods Arms & Peace now my Friend❤️ Thank you for the memories.❤️🥲🙏🏻✝️️
All our Love, Dot & Pat Hagan
