Ruben Ronquillo's Obituary
Ruben (Ben) Ronquillo, of Marlton, New Jersey, unexpectedly passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 82. Born and raised in the Philippines, Ben moved to the United States in 1968, followed by his wife, Virginia (Gini) and his two oldest children in 1970. He graduated from Feati University in Manila, Philippines. He worked as an industrial engineer for several companies in the Telecommunication Industry and served as Director in the South Jersey Industrial Engineering Association. He found much success throughout his career, but he always considered his greatest accomplishment to be his family. His greatest joys were attending his 12 grandchildren’s many events in addition to family vacations, gatherings & holidays, and an occasional trip to the casinos. Ben is survived by his loving wife Virginia (Malit), his cherished children Lon Rosenblum (Jeff), Rey Ronquillo (Theresa), Ron Ronquillo (Michele), Lota Rogers (Art) and his adored grandchildren Sarah, Audrey, Zach, Danny, Brandon, Jason, Nicole, Matthew, Ellie, Amelia, Genevieve & Lucy. Dear brother of Rita Miguel, Rico Ronquillo, the late Lolita Salameda, Elena Buenviaje and the late Puring Bondoc. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing at the Givnish Funeral Home, 398 East Main Street, Marlton, NJ, on Saturday, November 7th, 10:30am-12:00pm, followed by the funeral mass at St. Isaac Jogues, 349 Evesboro-Medford Road, Marlton, NJ, 12:30pm-1:30pm. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery, 25 Fostertown Road, Medford, New Jersey. All are welcome but masks are required and social distance will be monitored. If desired, donations in Ben’s memory may be made to American Heart Association.
