Ruth A. Caruso's Obituary
Ruth A. Caruso, BSN (nee McGann) passed away peacefully on May 28, 2018. Born in Moorestown, Ruth was 91 years old and a lifelong resident of Moorestown. Beloved wife of 66 years to the late John J. Caruso. Loving mother of John (Theresa) Caruso, Jeanne Caruso, Mark Caruso and the late Michael Caruso. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and her siblings; Robert C. McGann, P. Joseph McGann and Pauline McGann.
After graduating from Cooper Nursing School, Ruth joined the Nursing Corp during WW II. Ruth was employed as the school nurse for Our Lady of Good Counsel for many years.
She enjoyed watching baseball and a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. Ruth especially enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, June 4th, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North.
Her Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will take place at NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Health Care and Hospice 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
