Ruth McGahey's Obituary
Ruth McGahey (nee Rendzak), 87, of Robbinsville, formerly of Stratford, NJ went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 22, 2016. Ruth was born in Philadelphia PA and graduated from Kensington High School. She so cherished and adored spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved sharing Jesus with others Ruth was a homemaker and enjoyed decorating, floral arranging, cooking and baking.
She was the beloved wife of the late William D. McGahey for 54 years. Devoted mother of Barbara L. McGahey, Maureen C. Carson, Kevin W. (Patricia) McGahey, Michele D. McGahey and the late Gregory S. McGahey. Loving grandmother of Colleen (Benjamin) Johnson, Meghan McGahey, Kevin W. McGahey, I I, Sean McGahey and Daniel McGahey. Dear great-grandmother of Hailey, Ryan, Ella, Nicolas and Charlotte. Sister of Mary, Stephanie (Pat), Helen and Marie and the late Sophie and Albert. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ruth's life celebration Thursday, December 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. visitation at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, followed by her funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment at Brigadier William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers please donations in memory of Ruth to The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 1865 Harrison Ave., Camden, NJ 08105.
