Ruth Oppelt's Obituary
Ruth Gebhart Oppelt (nee Wills), of Mount Laurel, formerly of Cinnaminson, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late William and Mabel Wills, Ruth was 98 years old.
Ruth was the loving wife of the late Lawrence Oppelt. Beloved mother of Susan Oppelt of Mount Laurel. Cherished grandmother of Bill Oppelt (Amy), Cheri Kopko (Kirk), Lauren Sweatman (Mark), Michelle Rodi (Fred), and David Zimmerman (Julie). Great grandmother of Rachel, Molly, Morgan, Taylor, Sam, Max, Kylie, and Korey. Ruth is predeceased by her sons, William (the late Nancy), and Michael.
Ruth's last employment was working as an insurance rater for corporate accounts at CHUBB in Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., from 12 pm to 1 pm, with a prayer service beginning at 1 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth’s memory may be made to Meals on Wheels, www.MealsOnWheelsAmerican.org, or to Shriner’s Hospital, www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/shc.
