Ruth Phelps' Obituary
Ruth P. Phelps, a lifelong resident of Cinnaminson, passed away on June 26, 2015. She was 86 years old.
Ruth was a lifelong member of the Palmyra Moravian Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and sang in the Church Choir.
Ruth will always be remembered for her warm heart and kind nature towards others.
Ruth was the beloved wife of Russell Phelps for 63 years. Loving mother of Patricia Obuchowski, Cindy Meller (John) and the late Carol Taylor (Mike). Dear grandmom to Wayne, Brian, Patrick, and Jamie. Great grandmother to Ava, Chloe, Katelyn, Peyton, Julianna, and Tyler. Loving sister to Helen Fisher, the late Betty Leusner, and the late Robert Fisher. Ruth is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ruth’s life celebration at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rte. 130 N., on Tuesday evening from 7 – 9 pm, and on Wednesday morning at Palmyra Moravian Church, 1921 Cinnaminson Ave., from 10 – 11 am. Her memorial service will begin at 11 am, followed by interment at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth’s name may be made to the Palmyra Moravian Church.
