Ruth Phyllis Toren's Obituary
Ruth Phyllis Toren (nee Scisco) passed away peacefully on January 29, 2016 in Moorestown, NJ. Born in Belmar, NJ, Phyllis was 88 years old. She was former resident of Doylestown, PA.
Phyllis was a registered nurse, graduating from Monmouth Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1948.
She worked for Dr. Clifford Laudenslager of Doylestown, PA for over 25 years.
She finished her nursing career at Briarleaf Nursing Home in Doylestown, PA.
Phyllis enjoyed vacationing on Long Beach Island, reading books, and spending time with her family.
Loving mother of David (Tina) Toren and Cindy (the Late Joseph V.) Dressel.
Cherished grandmother to Joe, Lauren, Joanna and Nick and great grandmother of Jackson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Phyllis’ Life Celebration Tuesday 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street. Remembrance Service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
