Dear Dave,
I wish I had the other family members ( Brothers, and Sisters )in my email list so I could share these feelings. Your mom was the exception to the rule as a teacher goes. She went out of the way for me and my classes every year. She'd always asked me what I needed for my World and American History studies. We could talk when I was in need to air something out! She ALWAYS HAD THE BEST PERSPECTIVE. IT WOULD TRULY HELP ME THROUGH THE HARD TIMES.
She was also like the old dinosaurs - I was one, who stayed working that the district wished would retire. Ha ha. She and I showed them!! You know your were blessed with a mom who knew what was best for her family ,and ALL her school children .Not everyone gets that in this world today.
I'm recovering from 2 weeks at Temple Un. Hospital from pneumonia and can't leave the house now that I'm back so I wanted to convey that I miss her, that she is a great friend to all the teachers, and loved all the children in Maple Shade. The Patience of a Saint! Amen.
I wish I could have said this more to her before this happened ! God be with you and family at this sad time and know that many, many are praying for you all and will think often of Mom.
