Sarah J. Paskman's Obituary
Sarah J. Paskman (nee Bilger) passed away peacefully on October 14, 2018 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. Born in Ambler, Pa, Sarah was 77 years old. After graduating from Wissahickon High School, she earned her first Bachelors Degree in teaching from Beaver University (now Acadia). After she married, she travelled around the United States spending time in Arizona, Kansas, California and then back to her roots in the tri-state area where she lived in Medford Lakes, Woodbury and Marlton. She also spent two years in Central Texas from 1991-2001 while working in women’s health.
During her twenties and thirties Sarah dedicated her life to early childhood education. In the eighties she revived her career returning to school at St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, earning her Registered Nurse diploma in 1984. She continued her education receiving her Bachelor’s in Nursing from La Salle University in 1988 and her MSN from University of Pennsylvania in 1994 while working as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. Dedicating her life to prenatal and women’s healthcare she worked with young women as a Nurse Practitioner at Rutgers University from 1996-1999 and then later joined Planned Parenthood where she retired from in 2013.
Loving mother of David (Patience) Paskman, Miriam (James) Reick, Deborah Paskman and Ziporah Paskman. Cherished grandmother of Charles Martin, Travis Morton, Robert Craig and Hope Elizabeth Paskman.
A private memorial service will be held for friends and family in Beach Haven where she cherished visiting the ocean.
