Seamus R. Lafferty, 23, lifelong resident of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away suddenly on December 22, 2023. Born in Willingboro, NJ to James and Susan Lafferty (nee Whicker) on August 28, 2000. He was the much loved younger brother to Moira Lafferty. Devoted cousin to Erin Wallace, her husband Danny and their son Declan, Jamie Nerney and her husband Steve, Kelly Carr, her husband Mario and their son Finn, Patrick Looft, Daniel and Maggie Wilson, and Caroline, Connor and Christopher Smith. Dear nephew to Denise and Bill Looft, Jim McCartney and the late Pam, the late Daniel Lafferty, the late John Lafferty, Maura and Larry Wilson, Rob Smith and the late Margie Smith. He was predeceased by his grandparents Daniel and Margaret Lafferty, and Catherine and Robert Whicker. Seamus will be sorely missed by many other family members and friends, especially his close group of best friends that are supporting his family during this difficult time.
Seamus absolutely adored being the center of attention. He was the glue that held his group of friends together. His love for partying and having a good time is something he is known for. His friends would describe him as a ladies’ man. He thoroughly enjoyed spending his summers down in Sea Isle with his family and friends. On his downtime, he would often be found gaming, downing protein shakes and spending hours at the gym, or sleeping in. He hated school but loved working as a contractor for his father for J. Laff LLC and their friend Dino. He was a self-proclaimed spoiled mommas’ boy and loved when she would cook him dinner or order him pizza. His wardrobe proudly consisted of mainly Carhartt brand. His biggest passion in life were cars, especially his white Dodge Charger.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, December 27th from 5:00- 8:00pm and again on Thursday morning, from 9:00- 11:00am with his memorial service and friends and family sharing beginning at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Seamus’s name may be made to Archway Programs, 280 Jackson Road, PO Box 668, Atco, NJ 08004.
