Colonel Joe Pascuzzo
I had the pleasure of meeting Frank when I started my job at Aetna Health Plans as a new Medical Director. Frank became a mentor to me. He had a great laugh and sense of humor. I learned a lot from him. He had great stories about his time at Bethesda related to LBJ and his family that I cannot go into here but were very funny and that I had never heard from anyone but Frank and I remember Frank telling me like it was yesterday.
This was my first job in the "business world" outside of Medicine and Frank shared his wisdom with me that continues to help me today.
I had never served in the military at the time I met Frank except for ROTC but then later joined the Air Force/Air National Guard and served for 27 years as a Flight Surgeon and just recently retired. Again, Frank's advice helped me in the military. I am still practicing as a Hematologist/Oncologist in California and today just started thinking about Frank and looked to find information about him online only to find to my great sadness that he had passed away earlier this year.
My deepest sympathy to all of Frank's family. You should all be proud of all of his accomplishments in his lifetime. He was a very special man.
