Shane Joseph Sokowski's Obituary
Shane J. Sokowski passed away suddenly on August 16, 2019. Born in Voorhees, NJ Shane was 29 years old. He was a resident of Levittown, PA and formerly lived in Maple Shade, NJ. Beloved son of Meg Spiker and her husband, William “Don” Spiker.
Brother of Robert (Katie) Steele, Johnathan (Lauranne Capoccetta) Steele and Samantha (David Silvera) Steele-Silvera. Loving uncle of Angelina Capoccetta. Also surviving are two step sisters; Sandy and Susan and many cousins.
Shane was a graduate of Maple Shade High School. He was an excellent baseball player for several organizations in the Maple Shade area. Shane enjoyed watching the Phillies, Eagles and attending the Trenton Thunder games with his family.
He loved going to concerts and listening to his favorite music.
Those who knew Shane knew he would do anything for anyone “tomorrow”.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, August 23rd, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. His Life Celebration Service will follow at 7:30 p.m.
