All it takes is a passing shadow
As a cloud moves across the sun.
To remind us yesterday has gone.
And a new day has begun.
For although the blossoms may tumble
And leaves scatter in the breeze.
What will never ever fade is the precious memories.
Sending love and devotion for Sharon and her entire family.
She has been a loving and caring Mom, Gandmom, Sister and Friend
To all of us that had the pleasure to know her. Aunt Cindy

To my Aunt Sharon & Dear Family: I am Jessica Braverman, Mark's oldest daughter. Aunt Sharon is my dad's sister. This poem was shared with me and I wanted to share it in tribute to my beautiful Aunt Sharon. She was there for me the summer my family moved from Phila to Oregon and allowed me to stay in her home where she treated me like her own daughter. Thank you Aunt Sharon and Cousins.
The Broken Chain by Ron Tranmer:
We little knew that day
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories.
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our FAMILY CHAIN is broken;
And NOTHING seems the same,
BUT as GOD calls us one by one
The chain will link Again.
GOD SPEED AUNT SHARON..... Fly with the Angels and look after all of us the best you can, as we know you will. LOVE YOU FOREVER. Jessica
There are many things about my sister that I admire, too many things to give voice to here today. However, the three most outstanding things are that she gave life to a large and devoted family. She had 3 children Mindy, Ina and Bryan who in tern gave life to children of their own, grandchildren, and some of their children have already given life to great-grandchildren, with more to come one day.
My sister devoted her life to every member of her family. They loved her in return, calling her Bubby, a Jewish name of endearment for a Grandmother. My sister also devoted herself to her husband Jack's large family for many years.
Secondly, my sister was a successful businesswoman. She took to learning the skill of hairdressing in high school, turning that skill into a way to support her family and to teach her daughters that skill.
My sister had an innate ability, without formal training, to run a successful business, and gather other hairstylists into her business who she treated with respect and welcomed them into her home like family. She also manged a large, successful salon at JC Penny's for several years.
And, my sister devoted herself to the care of our own mother, especially during the years that our mother's health declined, leading to her death. My sister, as you see, juggled raising her children, ran a successful business and cared for our mother, during her lifetime.
I was four years old when my sister was born. All of my life, my sister and I have been very close. In one way or another, I looked after my sister's wellbeing for 78 years. We were always confiding in each other openly about the highs and lows of our respective lives. I can not imagine life without my sister. I admired my sister.
I miss her already. She is in G'd's hands now.
Her brother Mark
My heart hurts. We just lost another loved one in our family last month. I know her brother Mark is devastated. This is a lot to deal with right now. I grew up with my Cousin Sharon when we both lived in South Philly. We used to get into trouble with her Mom, My Aunt Frances whenever I spent the night at her house. We would stay up laughing and telling jokes. (teenagers) Really, those truly were the good ole days. Fond and Fun memories. Till we meet again. Love Butchie (bjv)
