Sharon was an inspiration for my son Evan, who is a volunteer at the aquarium. She sparked his love for marine science through the many programs she ran at the aquarium. She wrote a beautiful letter of recommendation for him for his college applications. I am honored to have known her and I am so grateful for the guidance she gave my son. He is now a college Freshman pursuing his passion for marine science thanks to Sharon. She will be missed but not forgotten

Sharon's passion, intelligence, and creativity touched hundreds (thousands!) of children over her years at the aquarium. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and her love for the oceans shone bright. She will be missed more than she could ever know, and the memories she made will live on in the young minds she inspired. I feel privileged to have known her and worked with her.
