Sharon West's Obituary
Sharon West (nee Carey), of Delanco, formerly of Maple Shade, passed away on March 30th,2024. She was 76 years old. Sharon was born in Camden on July 28th, 1947 to the late Robert Carey and the late Florence Carey (nee Groff). Devoted wife to the late Elbert A. West. Loving mother to Kimberly Scavello (Peter), Christopher West (Denise), and Amber Sciliano (Franco). Beloved grandmother to Sophia, Mason, Carly, Cole, Scarlett, and Salvatore. Cherished sister to the late Ruthanne, Carol, Jackie, and Bobby.
Sharon grew up on Sunset Ave. in Maple Shade, and made her home with her own family on Linwood Ave. of Maple Shade.
She loved the Lord and spending time with her family more than anything in the world! Sharon was a friend to everyone she had ever met. Such a sweet person that everyone either got handshake or hug from her but mostly a hug.
She loved children so much that she dedicated her life to them by running a daycare for 40 years. She loved the sun/ shore/beach, being outside, Sunsets, entertaining and being by the water.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday April 11th, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Givnish Funeral Home of Maple Shade. Located at 600 E Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ, 08052. Following the visitation there will a funeral service beginning at 7 p.m., also at the funeral home.
