Mom worked at Hattie Carnegies, in Manhatten in the 40's. She met many celebrities and spouses of celebrities there but her favorite story was this:
Zsa Zsa Gabor came in and her salesperson was not available, so they had mom helping her. She selected a dress and told her to have it held for her.
Mom told the salesperson and she said to just put it back, she never comes back for dresses she puts on hold.
Well.......
a week or so later Zsa Zsa reappears looking for her dress. And ran around screaming for the little one that helped her w/ the big face. My mom was hiding in the basement til Zsa Zsa left.
