Shirley A. Sterling's Obituary
Shirley A. Sterling (nee Keagle) passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at her residence in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to Kenneth and Pauline Keagle, Shirley was 87 years old.
She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband, Benjamin Sterling, her daughter, Kathy Murphy, and her sisters, Dolores Keagle and Dona Keagle.
Shirley was a resident of Mt. Laurel for the last several years. In her early years, she was employed as a receptionist for Archer & Greiner Law in Haddonfield, NJ.
She was the loving mother of Thomas Moran, John (Michelle) Moran, and Christopher Moran. She was a cherished grandmother to Kenneth (Valerie) Murphy, Justin (Krisha) Murphy, Jessica (Drew Kopicki) Moran, Madison (Jarred) Goeckler and Olivia Moran. Shirley was the proud great-grandmother of Adison, Landon, Caitlin, Alexys and Skylar, affectionately known to them as “GG”.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 13th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. Shirley’s Life Celebration Service will begin at 11:00 a.m.
