Stanley C. Warkoczewski's Obituary
Stanley C. Warkoczewski of Cherry Hill NJ passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the age of 90 of natural causes. Born in reading PA, he was the son of Anthony and Helen Warkoczewski. Stanley graduated from Reading High school in 1947 and the University of Illinois in 1951. Stanley proudly served in the US Navy during WWII as a Naviation Electronics Technician., First Class. He worked as an engineer at RCA for 23 years in the radar and circuit plating department. He continued his career and retired as an electronic teacher at Camden County Vocational School. Stanley enjoyed playing the organ, working on small inventions and experiments, watching war movies with his son Joseph; cooking and spending time with his friends, family, TLA (To Live Again) and church. Stanley was passionately involved and committed to the TLA ministry at Christ our Light Church, a bereavement ministry to help widows and widowers. He was the beloved husband of the late Sarah Napoli Warkoczewski. Dear father of Carol Barry (Michael) of The Woodlands, Texas and Joseph Warkoczewski of Hainesport NJ. The grandfather of Melissa Barry, Stephanie Barry, Brian Barry, and Katrina Warkoczewski. Special friend to the late Rita Grabovich of Maple Shade, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to Stanley’s Life Celebration Saturday January 16th 8:00-9:30am at Inglesby Givnish’s of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street followed by his funeral Mass 10:00am at Christ our Light Church, Kings Highway Cherry Hill followed by Naval Military Honors. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, 313 Kutztown Rd., Reading PA.
