Stephen C. Dickerson's Obituary
Stephen C. Dickerson, of Maple Shade, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on December 20, 2013. He was 65 years old.
Stephen was a Vietnam veteran and was awarded with a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his service. He retired from the Local 107 in Philadelphia as a truck driver. He enjoyed going to the casino and antiquing.
Stephen was the beloved son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Dickerson, also predeceased by his late brother, Thomas. He is survived by his brother, Charles; sisters, Ella, Lorraine, Joanne, Flossy, Barbara, Ruthie and Kim; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Stephen’s life celebration on Saturday, December 28th, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, from 10 – 11:50 am. His funeral Mass will begin at 12 pm. Interment will be in Colestown Cemetery, Church Rd. and Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen’s name may be made to Feed the Hungry by visiting www.feedthehungry.org.
