Steven H. Willans' Obituary
Steven H. Willans, of Morrisville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2024. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Harold and Lois (nee Wilkinson) Willans, he grew up in Barrington, NJ and spent summers on his grandparents farm in Maine, he was 59 years old.
Steven was the beloved husband of Katrina K. (nee Williams) for 35 years. Cherished father of Charles Holmes (Elizabeth Chappell). Step-grandfather to Brianna Chappell, Emma Chappell and Olivia Chappell. Loving uncle of Kea Sewell, Nakeeta Phillips, Keshana Phillips, Jerry Phillips, Spencer Williams, Alana Williams and Alexa Williams. Dear Godfather of Eric Moore and Chelsea Phillips. Great Uncle of 12 and great great uncle of 2. Son-in-law of Enoch Williams. Brother-in-law of Celeste Scurry and Glenn Williams
Steven held undergraduate degrees in computer science, computer programming and accounting and was fluent in multiple languages. He was employed with Senior Citizens United Community Services for 23 years as IT, and prior as an EMT with STAT Medical Transport. When Steven’s son was young he enjoyed being Co-Cub Scout Leader of his troop and later in life as a motorcycle enthusiast he led his riding group’s annual charity run for the Ride of the Santa’s to a local children’s home. Hobbies he loved to share with others were freshwater fishing, Amatuer Ham Radio Operator, woodworking and being a Certified Weather Spotter for the National Weather Service. A love for photography, a passion for robot building and avid reader, his favorite author Stephen King and would read Lord of the Rings every year. Steven’s most recent venture was being a YouTube content creator of instructional model building and developing devices for automating halloween/christmas props, as well as reviewing newly released products.
