Steven Philip Yates' Obituary
Steven Philip Yates, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away on October 1, 2022, after a long recovery from an accident.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Dorne Arnold and Lorraine Marie (Peterson) Yates; brother David Yates, Uncle John Peterson, Aunt Margie (Yates) Aiola, and Aunt Audrey (Peterson) Mooney.
Steven was the loving brother of Edward (Arlina) Yates and Eric Yates; Uncle to Carolyn Gehl and Laura Yates, and nephew to Margarette (Yates) Malone. He will be mourned by many, including friends and staff at the Delaware House, Westampton, NJ.
Steven was born on September 9, 1956, in Collingdale, PA, and was raised in Aldan, PA, and Cinnaminson, NJ. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Arizona, then a Master's Degree from Rutgers - New Brunswick, and was a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the State University of NY, Stonybrook.
Steve had a great dry sense of humor, befriended people, was a movie buff, and loved designing complex algebraic equations and of course his dogs Sailor, Kelly, and Ralph.
A graveside service will be taking place at 12pm on Friday, October 14, at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
