Susan J. Murphy's Obituary
Susan J. Murphy (nee Birch) of Edgewater Park passed away peacefully on October 10, 2022, at the age of 62. Sue was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Beloved wife of Robert J. Murphy for 38 years. Loving mother of Andrea (Matthew) McMullen and Brian Murphy. Cherished grandmother of Abigail McMullen. Daughter to Thomas and Jane Birch. Sister of Lorrie (Earl) Foster and Janice (Patrick) Lynn.
An animal lover and nature enthusiast, Susan was most happy when traveling and camping with her family and friends. Sue was very active in her children’s sports and social activities. She spent many years as an active leader in both Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops in Edgewater Park and Willingboro.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from 6 pm to 8 pm and Tuesday from 10am to 11am at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. Susan’s Funeral Service will begin at 11 am follow by entombment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle/NJ Veteran’s Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
