Taylor E. Gilmour's Obituary
Taylor E. Gilmour passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 with her family by her side. Born in Voorhees to Davis and Kathy Gilmour, Taylor was 31 years old. She was a resident of Medford, NJ.
Taylor is the loving daughter of Davis and Kathy Gilmour, sister of John Conner Gilmour (Sarah), and an amazing Aunt to Lily, Eva, and Nea. Granddaughter to the late Roy and Carmela Ripple, and the late Gov and Dawn Gilmour. Taylor had many surrogate moms, first and foremost Mommy Roe, Momma Karpiak, and her many Sharp Mommas.
Niece of Rosemary and Jeff Spohn, Dennis and Sharon Ripple, Thom and Brenda Ripple, Deborah Gilmour and Richard Tisdale, Cherylann and John Grillo.
Cousins who were truly her bonus sisters and brothers, Stevielynn Aho, Kyle Spohn (Lindsay), Kimberly Spohn, and Baylee Ripple.
Taylor enjoyed animals of all kinds. Although cats were her favorite, she had a deep connection to all animals. If you drove anywhere with Taylor, she would notice every dog, cat, cow, or horse on the side of the road, in a car, or a home window. She spent much of her time as a kitten cuddler at Kit Kat Playroom, a rescue organization.
The love of Taylor’s life was her nieces. She treasured the time she spent with Eva and Nea in Maine. Lily came into her life last year and we never saw such a bond and love between two souls as we did with Taylor and Lily. Both sets of blue eyes would light up when they saw each other.
A gathering of family and friends will be held this Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Taylor’s Life Celebration Service will begin at 5:30 p.m. This is when we hope people will take an opportunity to share a story about Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, we request donations are made to the kitten rescue where Taylor devoted much of her time and love: kitkatplayroom.com/donate.
