Teresa Dobzanski's Obituary
Teresa Dobzanski, 94, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, peacefully at her home in Florida with her son by her side. She was born on September 20, 1926 in Poland and grew up in Philadelphia then moved to Cinnaminson where she raised her family. Teresa and her husband, Michael Joseph were married for 49 years and, unfortunately, she widowed at the age of 68.
She worked for Bell Telephone as an operator for several years at the Bourse building in Philadelphia, then later worked for Sears as a key punch operator. Teresa enjoyed going to church at St. Casimir, spending time with her family; including her many dogs that she repeatedly named Heidi, as well as frequent trips to Atlantic City to play the slot machines. She was a strong woman who was known by many as “Bulldog.”
Teresa’s life was successful, and her children love and thank her for her total dedication and the sacrifices that she made for them. One of our favorite family memories is making Pierogis together during the holidays using Teresa’s family recipe.
Teresa is survived by her children: Diane Anderson (Art-deceased), Tom Dobzanski, and Linda Weiner (James), Her grandchildren: Michele Row (Chris), Renee Browne (deceased), Rachel Moorhouse, Lauren Anderson (Brian), Eric Anderson, Ryan Anderson, and Ashley Bullis (Blake) and her great grandchildren: Dylan Anderson, Sophia Anderson, Juliana Bullis and Colette Bullis.
A memorial service celebrating Teresa's life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 23rd at Givnish Cinnaminson and interment immediately following at Lakeview cemetery.
