Theodore James Speer, Sr's Obituary
Theodore James Speer Sr. went to dance with his wife in heaven on their 58th wedding anniversary. He died peacefully at home on May 10, 2016 with his family by his side, after fighting a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was 79 years old. He served his country in the Navy (USS Caperton) and later served as a docent on the Battleship NJ. Prior to his retirement he was the principal owner of Ted Speer and Sons. He was predeceased in death by his wife Ruth (nee Seybold). Their love brought to this earth Ted Speer Jr. (Diane) of Moorestown, NJ; Kathryn Byrne of Washington Township, NJ; Christopher Speer (Debbie) of Delran and Cynthia Rovinsky of Delran, NJ. Adoring grandfather of, Cati Brewer, Christopher Speer, Colleen Byrne, Nicole Byne, Angelica Speer and Morgan Rovinsky and great granddaughter Brianna. He was predeceased in death by his parents Theodore and Margaret Speer-Brown. He will be sadly missed by his sisters; Majorie Suszczynski and Mary Ann Lang, along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his life celebration viewing at Inglesby Givnish Funeral Home of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street, NJ on Friday, May 13th from 6:30-9 pm and on Saturday, May 14th at the Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA from 9:30-10:30am viewing with services beginning at 10:30. In lieu in flowers, donations may be made to the Battleship New Jersey, 62 Battleship Place, Camden, NJ 08103-3302
