Theresa C. Henwood's Obituary
Theresa C. Henwood (nee Cronin), age 92, formerly of Philadelphia, died peacefully at home on February 14, 2019.
Born to Elizabeth and Frank Cronin, Theresa was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her.
As a 1944 graduate of Hallahan, she married Joseph L. Henwood that same year. He preceded her in death, as did two infant daughters, Elizabeth and Virginia Mary, and her sister, Dorothy Murphy of Barrington.
Those left to cherish her memories include ten children, Terry Wisniewski (Doug), Joseph (Eleanor), Eileen Laich (Mark), Maureen Barnes (Dave), Janet Oneda (Paul), Judith Sweeney, Patrick, Monica Eckhardt (Bill), Jodi Zelenenki (Joe), and Regina Keefer; 29 grandchildren, Meghan, Tessa, Shawn, Melanie, Jeremy, Jamie, Jeanenne, Sarah, Kevin, Chrissie, Chele, Joey, Jason, Jesse, Rachel, Lissa, Mo, Vicky, Amie, Billy, Bridget, Timmy, Jordan, Faith, Justin, Tommy, Theresa, Matthew, and Francis; 59 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, sister-in-law Peg Dymond, brother-in-law Thomas Henwood, and many nieces and nephews. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 22nd, at St Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, from 10 am – 11 am. Her Memorial Mass will begin at 11 am. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjudeorg.
