Theresa Albina Teicher's Obituary
Theresa Albina (Horonzy) Teicher of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away at the age of 91 on April 7, 2020 from natural causes. She was born on October 24, 1928 in Kingston, PA and was the daughter of Albert and Camilla (Rutkowski) Horonzy.
Theresa lived in Cinnaminson for the last 68 years. She was a loving and devoted mother to Donald G., Robert S. (Margarete) and William J. (Marivi), and grandmother who adored Daniel W., Madeline N., and Ryan M. She has many nieces and nephews who remember her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George S., her parents; sisters, Lottie, Fran, and Victoria; brothers, Joseph, Walter, Edward and George. Terry was the 7th of 8 children and the last of the siblings to survive.
Theresa will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving person with a gift for listening and providing kindness, generosity and optimism to all who knew her. She was beautiful inside and out. She treated everyone well and always enjoyed sharing stories with people. She was a long-time member of St. Casimir’s choir in Riverside, NJ and was a parishioner at St. Charles Borromeo in Cinnaminson. In her younger years Terry worked as a secretary and spent many happy times with her siblings and relatives in Asbury Park, NJ. She enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband while he was serving in the US Navy. After her children were born, Terry devoted all her time to them and was always there for support. Terry was a very good cook passing down favorite recipes to her family. She enjoyed watching her beloved Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles, Phillies and Sixers. Terry also loved to play bingo, card games, slots, and with her grandchildren scrabble.
The family expresses its deep thanks to the Senior Friends staff in Collingswood, NJ for their compassionate care during many years with Theresa at her residence.
