Thomas G. Flanagan's Obituary
Thomas G. Flanagan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 with his family by his side. Born in Philadelphia to Herbert and Dorothy Flanagan, Tom was 86 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson, formerly lived in Riverton, Delran, and North Wildwood. Beloved husband of 64 years to Catherine I. (nee Cicali) Flanagan. Loving father of the late Thomas Flanagan, Tim (Sharon) Flanagan and Jay (Dawn) Flanagan. Cherished Grandpop to Tara (Scott), Tommy, Brooke, Karlee, Matt, Tim (Nicole), Paige and Kelly. Brother of Edna Holder and the late Dorothy Schiffhauer.
Tom proudly served his country in the US Army. He was employed for over 30 years as a maintenance mechanic for the Hoeganaes Corporation in Cinnaminson. The proud father was truly a man of the people as he would talk to everybody. His infectious smile and vibrant personality was loved by all. He loved his family gatherings and was quite often the life of the party with his spunky dance moves. He enjoyed his daily walks, going to the jersey shore with his family and adored his grandchildren. Never has anyone ever spoken ill of this kind man. Tom was an avid Philadelphia sports fan; he loved the Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers. Tom left an indelible legacy of kindness on all he met.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 29th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at St. Casimir Church 502 New Jersey Avenue Riverside, NJ. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m.
