Thomas J Janus' Obituary
Tom Janus of Edgewater Park passed away from this life and moved on to heaven on October 10th 2019. Raised in Tacony PA, he was known as a jack of all trades and completed every job with a smile on his face. He excelled as a Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, and Repairman. Tom had a great sense of humor and could've written a book of his life stories. A man of great faith with an abundance of wisdom, patience and compassion, Tom always put others before himself, never expecting anything in return.
He took pride in being an excellent brother, husband, father, and poppop. And while Tom cherished his children and grandchildren, he formed his life around his beloved wife of 53 years, Mariann. There wasn't a thing he wouldn't do for her. His favorite pastime was simply being with her; watching TV or reading together at Barnes and Noble. You could always find him in the WWII aisle. He will be so missed but his family looks forward to seeing him again someday.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 10-11am with a mass beginning at 11:00am at St. Charles Borromeo of Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, Cancer.org. To share your favorite memory of Tom, please visit Givnish.com
