Timothy Michael Clark's Obituary
Our Heavenly Father, on the evening of October 30, 2024, opened the welcoming gates of Heaven for Timothy Michael Clark, age 57, who passed away peacefully in his home. The suddenness of his passing has left many with hearts deeply saddened, but his presence will live on in our thoughts and prayers, for he was graced with a life of blessings.
Born on July 31, 1967, he was raised in a loving family in the East Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, surrounded by the liveliness of his 2 older brothers and 2 older sisters. By the age of 9, his family had moved to Cherry Hill, NJ, where he would spend the remainder of his life. After graduating from Cherry Hill West High School, Tim enlisted in the US Coast Guard, dedicating several years of service both at home and abroad. He went on to become a very accomplished diesel mechanic, successfully completing many specialized programs, receiving numerous certifications for his achievements.
Tim enjoyed the simple things in life. He was an avid sports fan and never missed a Jets or Cardinals game. Many nights were spent yelling at the players on TV. There were a number of hours spent watching some of his favorite movies with Katie and Shea such as Jaws, Caddyshack, and Airplane. Tim was an avid guitar player and always had the aspiration to one day play in a band, so there were a number of weekends where the neighbors got to enjoy his practicing. He loved gardening and was always proud of his tomatoes. There were many years where he would make his own spaghetti sauce and his recipe for goulash with his garden vegetables was always a hit with his daughters. Tim loved the shore and took frequent family vacations to the New Jersey beaches as well as Ocean City, MD. While he may not have always been successful, he always enjoyed a day of fishing, especially deep-sea fishing for blue fish with friends.
Tim was predeceased by his mother and father, and sister Lisa, but his memory will continue to be cherished by his family as a loving father to his daughters Katie and Shea. Tim is also survived by his brother William Clark (Loredana), Terrance Clark and sister, Renee Johnson; and his former spouse, Michelle Clark. He was also blessed with a number of nieces and nephews, Krissy, George, Jr., Bonnie, Jeffrey, Justin, Mathew, Christian and Shane who will all miss him dearly.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 -11:00 am at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 499 Route 70 East, Cherry Hill, NJ, with a prayer service to follow. All are welcome to attend.
