Victoria L. Hernandez's Obituary
Victoria L. Hernandez, 52, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on April 5, 2025, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.
Born on June 22, 1972, in Syracuse, NY, she was the beloved daughter of George and Martha Gay (née Young), and cherished stepdaughter of Thomas Cassar. Victoria was the devoted partner of Pedro Hernandez for many years.
She was the loving mother of Cynthia Hernandez (Shyeem) and Brandon Hernandez, and proud grandmother of Damon Peek. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Shanelle Needs (Drew) and Tommy Cassar (Rachel).
Victoria worked for many years as a warehouse packer at Simon & Schuster, where she was known for her strong work ethic. Outside of work, Victoria lived life to the fullest. She loved to dance, decorate for every holiday, and go for long car rides. She especially treasured family trips to Disney, where she adored seeing her favorite character, Donald Duck.
She was known for her generosity, her love of ice cream, and her passion for making others happy. Victoria loved animals, nature, and spending time outdoors. Her beloved dog, Coco, will miss her dearly.
Always stylish, Victoria took pride in looking her best, with her hair done just right. She was a woman of deep faith, finding strength and joy through her church, The Rock in Mount Laurel.
Victoria’s legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in all who knew her.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
