Vince was a very thoughtful and kind man who really cared about his friends and always spoke highly of his two sons and their families. He was very generous and always made you feel comfortable in his home. My mother (who was suffering from alzheimers) and I would see him sitting at the counter in theGolden a Dawn Diner and Vince would always come over to talk with us. He even invited her and I over to his house for coffee and take us through a tour of his home that he was so proud of. He was kind to animals, especially loved his cat and fish. One memory that I will always cherish about Vince is that even though recently it was very difficult for him to get around, he made sure that he came to my mothers viewing which was not even one month ago. Now that's a true friend. I told him not to worry about attending and this is just one example of the thoughtfulness that Vince showed for his friends.
I send my sympathy to Vince's family and he will be missed.
Your friend, Karen
