Vincent "Mickey" LaRosa's Obituary
Vincent “Mickey” LaRosa, of Mount Laurel, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side on April 7, 2018. He was 78 years old.
Mickey was the beloved husband of Janice “Jan” (nee Shaal) for 57 years. Loving father of Michael LaRosa (Kim) and Shelley Atkinson (Jay). Dear Grandpop of Jacob, Katie, and Josh Atkinson, and Gina, Angela, and Michael LaRosa. Loving brother of Eileen Zych (Mike), Kate Martz (John), Marion Whalen, Peggy Penfold, Bill Kelperis (Kelly), and the late Joan Lynch (Bob). Dear brother-in-law of Judy McAdams and Barbara Rush (Jim). Mickey is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly, and friends who will miss him tremendously.
Mickey was a Korean War Army Veteran, and at one time, was a steward for Local Union 107. He was very involved in the Happy Hour Club, where he was a lifelong member. He was an avid fan and loved his Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mickey’s life celebration gathering on Tuesday, April 17th, at Wiley Church, 101 E. Main St., Marlton, NJ, 08053, from 10 – 11:30 am. A service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be private.
