Vincent A. Preto's Obituary
Vincent Anthony Preto passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2026. Beloved husband of Barbara Preto (Shuhart) for 58 years and devoted father of Vince Jr. (Nicole), Christine Neiffer (Donald) and Jennifer Neaves (Walter). Cherished grandfather (pop) of Ryan Preto, Rebecca Winters (Dan) and Mia Neaves. Great grandfather (great pop) to Taylor and Brayden Winters.
Vince was born in Philadelphia, PA to Florence and Frank Preto and was the oldest boy among 7 siblings Rosemarie Troso-Clark (Larry), Frank Jr. (Bonita), Joey, Nick, Maryann (Gary) and Michael (Beth).
Vince lived in Philadelphia until he was 12 years old when his family moved to Maple Shade, NJ. He looked out for his siblings and was great with children and babies. He enjoyed summer vacations at the Jersey shore with friends and family as a child and as an adult. He always had entertaining stories to tell, especially involving fishing and boating at the shore. As a teenager, it was Vince’s love of cars that took him to Atco raceway where he met Barbara who worked at the concession stand. Vince and Barbara later married and raised a family. Vince had a strong work ethic and was employed at Lockheed Martin for over 30 years. He loved pizza, pasta, seafood, red wine, dancing, making people laugh. He never refused a bowl of ice cream or left a bad tip. He cherished his family and friends and hated an empty, quiet house.
Vince may have left this earth but he will be kept alive in our hearts and fond memories.
Visitation of family and friends will be held on Tuesday February 17th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Givnish Funeral Home, 398 East Main Street, Marlton, NJ 08053.
Mass will be held after visitation at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc church, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, NJ 08053 followed by burial at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 260 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
