Virginia "Ginny" Ranken's Obituary
Virginia “Ginny” Ranken, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2019, at the age of 93. She was born and raised in Delanco and resided in Edgewater Park for the past 58 years.
During World War II, Ginny was a “Rosie the Riveter” at General Motors, in Trenton, assembling fighter planes. She also worked at BF Goodrich, in Riverside and Bayards Chocolate House, in Cinnaminson. Ginny enjoyed extensive travel, reading, and last but not least – baking. She baked the most amazing pies among other goodies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Irene (Leek) Ranken; and her life-time friend, Doris Durham. Ginny is survived by many loving relatives and friends. She will be missed dearly.
