Dear grandmom,
To the strongest lady I knew. I've never watched someone fight cancer the way you did, you fought everyday for years, though you did not beat the cancer you still were a surviver to our family. You never gave up and you pushed through a lot. You always made sure we had everything we needed, and more. Not only were you the strongest, but the toughest woman, you never held anything back, you were one of a kind. We will never forget you, and knowing you are up in heaven pain free easies our minds. Watch over us and keep us safe grams! " so long" as you would say, we'll be seeing you again.

Dear Grandmom,

I have so many memories growing up and being at your house. I loved our sleepovers, bike rides, and family holiday parties. I looked forward to them like a kid on Christmas morning. I will never forget our trips to the mall where I would ride my imaginary horse "Black Beauty" around (complete with full gallop and sound effects). I still laugh everytime I think of you and my mom telling the story. You made sure that me, Melissa, Frank, Megan and Alicia were some of the most spoiled and loved grandkids and great grandkids around. You are the best grandmom any child could ever ask for. I will cherish the memories and know that you will forever look down upon me. I can't wait for you to see me on my wedding day. I know you will be right next to me celebrating with everyone. If I had one wish it would be to have you back for that day. I'm so lucky to have had you here on earth for as long as I did. I know I will see you again one day and when I start to get sad, I'll just think of all the great memories that I have with you and our family. Don't forget to send me some luck next time we all play the "3 dollar game"! I love you Grandmom, you're my most special guardian angel in the sky.
