Warren D. Crossley Sr.'s Obituary
Warren David Crossley Sr passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 24, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and was a longtime resident of Southwest Philadelphia, where he and his wife, Carol, raised their 3 children. He later resided in Southern New Jersey, including Villas, Maple Shade, and, lastly, Lumberton.
Warren was a member of the United Auto Workers union and was employed by the Budd Company in Philadelphia for 30 years, prior to retirement. In Philadelphia, he spent many years coaching Little League baseball at James Finnegan playground and played in an adult softball league for Track and Turf Tavern.
An avid sports fan and family man, he enjoyed watching his children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren in their activities, including ice hockey, soccer, softball, baseball, dance, and many other sports throughout the years. He was also happy to see multiple Phillies, Flyers and Eagles championships during his lifetime.
He loved listening to music at a high volume and taking rides in his prized Cadillac. He especially loved it when he could enjoy both at the same time.
Warren loved and adored his family and was thrilled to have met eight of his great-grandchildren. Growing up, it was his dream to have a large family, and he was genuinely happy to have gained many new brothers, sisters, and cousins upon marriage, especially with the addition of his many nieces and nephews.
Warren fought hard for many years against major medical ailments and kept his sense of humor through to the end.
He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Carol Marguerite (nee Mohr) Crossley; his mother Mary Catherine (nee Betts) Cappiello; his brother Wayne Crossley; and his aunt Nancy Spencer. He is survived by his children Warren (Kristen) Crossley Jr., Noelle (Frank) Davis, and Katherine (Christian) MacMullett; and his grandchildren Michael (Andrea) Davis, Kayla (Nick) Maguire, Joshua (Brianna) Davis, Adam Davis and Bella Crossley. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren Noah, Owen, Colton, Greyson, Koda, Michael, Alexandra, Hadley and baby Maguire, along with many beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday July 30th from 10 am to 12 pm. A service will begin at 12 pm.
