Wilber N. Taylor's Obituary
Wilber Nelson Taylor (“Bill”) went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2026, at the age of 99. He was born on December 14, 1926, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, and grew up in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada.
Bill served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946 and received an honorable discharge for his service. He later attended Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam, New York, graduating in 1951. In 1987, he earned his CPA certification.
On September 10, 1960, he married Susan Berning. They shared 66 wonderful years of marriage and raised three children: James M. Taylor (Kelly), Lisa S. Lind (James), and Christina M. McShea (Joseph). Bill was also the proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Bill was a loving husband and devoted father who cherished spending time with his children as they grew up. He was known for his happy spirit, easygoing nature, and fun disposition. Bill had a way of making people feel comfortable and welcome, and he was loved by everyone who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on May 30, 2026, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Medford, New Jersey. Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.
