William "Bing" D. Yanovitch's Obituary
William D. “Bing” Yanovitch, of Hillsborough, formerly of Cinnaminson, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2019. Born in Norfolk, VA to the late George and Amelia Yanovitch, he was 84 years old.
William graduated from Nanticoke High School, class of 1953. He attended drafting school in Williamsport for a short period before enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1956. After being honorably discharged in 1960, he went on to work for RCA in Mooretown, NJ as a Draftsmen Illustrator. He retired in 1999. Bing enjoyed scuba diving in his younger years. He liked to golf and especially enjoyed wood working. He was an award-winning model boat maker. He ushered for St. Charles Borromeo and was an avid parishioner for many years. Bing also enjoyed Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles.
Bing was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Ann “Betty” (nee Smurl) for 47 years until her passing in May of 2008. Loving father of Sharon Lynn (Andrew), Michael (Jennifer), Patrick, and William Jr. (Karen). Dear grandpa of Faith, Michael, Jessica, John, and Caleb.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Tuesday evening from 7 – 9 pm and Wednesday morning from 9 – 10 am. His funeral Mass will be on Wednesday at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson. Interment with military honors will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
