I had the distinct honor and pleasure to work with Bill for several years in Scout training, summer camp, and the Order of the Arrow. He was an exceptional leader, and a true friend. Rest in peace, Bill.
Bill was a special person. I don't believe his family and friends realized how much he loved the youth in our great state. He handled the scouting program for the New Jersey State Elks Association, and was recently appointed the State Director of NJ Elks Batter up Program. The work and efforts that he contributed to the youth of his Lodge, District, and our State will always be remembered. Bill "walked softly, and carried a big stick". He will not be forgotten, and has set an example for future members of our State youth programs. Rest in Peace Bill....Dick Tabbachino
I am proud to have called Bill a friend for over 49 years. through Good & Bad he was always There for me. I'm sure he will meet up with my Wife Doris & I'm sure she will aske him right away HAS THE BUS COME YET.A little joke she had with him over the years she new him. I miss him already
Bill gave me away at our wedding when my father was not here to. That has always meant a lot to me and I appreciate that he did that for me. You must have done some thing right because your son Steve, grew up to be an exceptional individual. Bill, you will be missed, from your daughter-in-law, Maryanne Chappell.
