William C. Harper Sr.'s Obituary
William Craig Harper Sr. passed away peacefully on September 25, 2019. Loving husband to Eileen Harper (Fitzgerald) for 55 years. Dear father to Kim Wetterau (Harry), Beth O’Brien (Jerry), Billy Harper Jr. (Mair). Beloved grandfather to Amanda O’Brien, J.J. O’Brien, and Morgan Wetterau. Great grandfather to Cameron Capri. Son to the late Edward and Jessie Harper. Brother to the late Edward, the late Eleanor, the late Evelyn, Myrtle and Shirly. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Bill was born on May 2, 1941 and raised in Somerdale, NJ and he was a resident of Tabernacle, NJ for 41 years. He was one of the founders of the Dragmasters Car Club, established in 1960. Bill enjoyed spending his days building cars, watching Nascar races, camping and weekend Rod Runs with friends and family. He was Dale Earnhardt’s number one fan.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, September 30th from 10:00am- 12:00pm at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main St, with his funeral service beginning at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Parkinson’s Disease Association, www.apdaparkinson.org.
