William Lee Johnston's Obituary
William Lee Johnston of Akron, OH passed away from a devastating brain aneurysm on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was 48 years old.
Lee was born on August 19, 1974 in Riverside, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Cinnaminson High School in New Jersey. Lee was employed as a Chef at Manchester Tavern and prior to that was Head Chef at the Pufferbelly in Kent for 20 years. His passion was cooking and he helped many others advance their culinary skills. He was an avid fisherman, loved bikes and skateboards.
Lee is survived by his loving parents, Peggy and Dave Payton; brother, Tyler Payton; his father, Dana Johnston and sisters, Rachel and Devon Johnston. Lee spent the last several years of his life with his loving partner, Rikki Hull and her two children, Josilynn and Henry. His Aunts, Ronni Holbrook (Mike), Sharon Devereaux (Bob), Peggy Poynter (Jim) and his Uncle, Gordon Payton will be among the many family and friends who will miss him.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Friday, December 16th, from 10 am to 12 pm. A memorial service will begin at 12 pm.
