I first met Bill in Feb 2012 YES HE WAS A Goodlooking guy BUT I WAS DRAWN TO HIM BECAUSE. He loved God & had no problem. Admitting this. He played music as did my own dad. & I never heard him talk badly of anyone He was there for his kids when needed without hesitation.
What I loved most was our mutual love of simple things. Walks. Eating at home. Listening to many genres of music ( he was a walking library ).
There are too many little things I could go on

Bill and I worked together 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for 35 years so, of course, we formed a wonderful relationship. He was a good man and we remained friends all these years. The last time we communicated was around Christmas and we planned on getting together. I definitely will miss him.

I had the privilege of enjoying dinner and fellowship with Bill shortly before his passing. Seeing him and reuniting after many years of being apart was so good for the soul, and I'm sure he felt the same. My earliest memories of Bill were of him playing keys at church. It never ceased to amaze me how Bill's collective knowledge of music and his ability to play by ear was foundational to how well the band led worship that day . . . and the feeling of God's blessing upon our musical offering.

He was a humble servant who didn't seek the accolades of an adoring crowd but was always seeking to bless God and His people through his playing. A true workhorse who was first to show up to rehearsal and offer his musical direction when needed, Bill was a true believer in every sense. I, for one, was blessed to know and serve with him. May God bless Bill's family and friends as we fondly think of him and his contributions to this life on earth.

On that day when he passed from this life to the next, the Lord said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant".
